UnitedHealth Is Buying Change Healthcare in $13 Billion Deal
The big health insurer will pay $8 billion in cash and assume roughly $5 billion of debt to acquire Change Healthcare.
✒ UnitedHealth is paying a 41% premium to buy Change Healthcare for US$7.84bn, which is a billing and management platform. Change Healthcare will combine with UnitedHealth’s fast-growing data analytic unit Optum.
